Competition goals for 2008...

Would like to ideally be Novice by the end of the season, but will be happy if we are consistant at PN and ready to go Nov for the 2009 season. I would also like to get consistant scores nov dressage and poss have a crack at Elementary, and be consistant SJing at Disco.

My aims are to be sucessful at Novice level eventing with Dexter, do some IN's and Gatcombe 1*.

And with Spider to be getting placed PN which I know she can do easily and for her to be jumping XC confidently (hopefully hunting this winter will help that) which is a bit of a barrier with her.

But most of all for them all to be fit sound and healthy and for me to have fun

Well after a terrible year with not really any competing To get out of BN BSJA!!, and stop letting my nerves ruin it for my more than capable horse!
My 4 year old to have his flatwork going well enough so we can BE as his jumping is fine, Couple of intros and see where we go from there, oh and also to get my mare through the water at Firle!! Its always been an issue with us!

My daughter to get placed her first BSJA any height or class will do she always seems to knock the last pole down!!!! grrrrrrrr

And of course for all my horses to stay sound and my back to keep going another year without having to have an op (touches wood quickly)so I can keep competing

I guess get me fit and horse and rider fitness permitting do a couple more CCI** and do a couple of advanced runs. If everything goes really well then maybe aim at at CCI*** at the end of the season.

Ive just started jumping newcomers and would hope to be alot more consistent by the summer and perhaps even winning money by this time next year. Maybe we will think about jumping fox at the end of the year, depending on how things go.

I would also like my DC's at disc and newcomers, though if i jump the second rounds is another story. I'd like to qualify for a final - anything really.

All in all i really want to progress my riding and become more consistent, hopefully get my nerves under control.

QR - Well I have a mini ambition for 07, that is to go do a dressage test!

08 - If mini plan for 07 goes well then it will be to get off the yard more, try some more tests and see what happens.

Also to remain happy in what I do and for LadyS to be happy and healthy and sound too

By this time next year I'd like to be doing Discovery BSJA and Novice affiliated dressage and poss the odd elementary and to do some BD combined training if there is anything held in my area. (Think poss they hold one at Northallerton but not sure)

To be able to play Casper in at least one tournament next year (polocrosse) he will be 4 and hopefully by the end of this year to have mustered up the courage to actully get on board the little bugger. My hubby is still working him for me till I deem him sane enough for me to get on board without being scared stiff!

most importantly to have fit and sound horses that are very happy...competing wise...get one up to BE novice by summer she is happily skipping rounf PN at the mo...to go as far as i can with the other one hopefully do well at novice...also hopefully get another youngster to have a play on..mmmm fun fun fun!

Goals; dangerous things as Don't want to tempt fate.
Just to have as good a year as this year ,which has been above and beyond what I hoped for.
I've qualified for spillers comb training and petplan novice at the winter BD champs and still have regionals at prelim, novice and music to do.
I hope to improve and I have won a lesson with Yogi B and Richard Davison to look forward to ,they should inspire me to work hard which is what is needed.
This year has been great so fingers crossed.

Well my goal for 2008 is to do my first unaff ODE. Just need to find somewhere in the south-east that do one that’s under 3ft. Any ideas anyone??

Also to do my first Prelim but that will be not long after the New Year hopefully.

QR - loved reading all these - it's so interesting to see you all aspiring to greatness at whatever level. I really hope you all achieve your aims and that you have fun doing it xxx
ETS - Nickym - I'm up for that too!!

Depends where you are in Kent JoBo...
I have all my fingers and toes crossed that my horse comes back to work. My goals for this year were to be jumping newcomers but who knows for next year? I dont want to be a happy hacker...

goals for 2008 =

1) to have a forward going responsive horse
2) win a PN

MAIN AIM Compete at 1* level by the end of spring season - this could be interesting as we have only done 2 PN!

4) compete in Necarne International 1*
5) qualify for working hunter champs
6) Have a sound horse at the end of all that eventing!

PMSL

*Medium on both Finnus and Winnie (although more likely on Winnie)
*Qualify for Regionals
*Poss do some music on Winnie (Finnus has pathological hatred of all things noisy)
*Be pushy groom to BB's and very bad photographer

I’m prepared to travel anywhere in Kent if I find one that will ease me and Bodes into eventing (which would be my ultimate goal in a few years time but may be wishful thinking on my part!?!).

I'm hoping that I'll be brave enough to have a go at some Newcomers BSJA and do a couple of PN's.

If all goes to pot at least I've got my hunting!

By the end of next summer my aim is to have competed Alee in some unaff prelim classes and possibly affiliated her and do some BD 4 year old classes on her.

Well mine are a bit measly at the moment as i really don't know where i stand on the horse front sooo:
Millie-
attempt our first dressage competition (will be her first ever one age 16!!)
attempt our first ODE- 2ft 6 sort of height (again her first) and not get eliminated

Charlie:
If he hopefully stays sound and well...
compete in a VHS show
compete and complete at PC level 3- big ask for a 20 yr old!
compete in a novice unafill dressage competition

Willow:
none as i don't compete him but maybe attempt a few in hand comps
