Ah okay, so when your foot is in, the arrows are pointing forwards. That was the way I thought it should be but others have said differently. Thank you. Would be odd for the springy bit to be nearer the toe where there is less weight! Out of interest, what leathers did you get?

Ah, I've just had a look at them. Can't say I can even work out how they attachI have jeffries t-bar dressage leathers. They have a warning sticker on the packet that says they're suitable for dressage competition only and not for jumping or general riding. I haven't done a dressage test since my last crummy attempt at a prelim at least 20 years ago, I do fun rides and Endurance GB rides. I used to have a pair and did what I do in them (that only went wrong because one got lost during a crisis/ accident type thing, it didn't break). I'm super chuffed to get another pair, they're lovely
