Hi Everyone i have seen a few of these confo critique posts on here and i just love them ! So today after riding i decided to take some photos with the hope some of you with that experienced eye could take a look over my horse and tell me a bit about her confo. She is 16.2 Id x TB 4 yrs old.
Please be honest i know were all bias about our horses...especially me as i bred this one out of my old treasured mare who sneaked into the last photo.

You bred this horse? WOW! I never do confo crits and soooo many 'I put my beloved mare in foal' results are too awful to look at.

This horse is lovely. Colour, length, head, nice limbs - he has it all. My only negative remark is going to be 'please get a teensy bit of weight off him' - oh and I'm a tad green because he's yours and not mine!
 
Lovely, lovely mare!! She's got such a nice shine to her coat :cool:

Ditto Brighteyes though, she could do with slimming down slightly but apart from that she looks a cracker!

What are your plans with her?
 
ooow wow im so pleased so far !! Well im undecided yet what to do in the long term . She was bred to hunt or event , but broken by a show rider who liked something about her. So far i have just got her establised in walk trot canter hacking out a few fun rides and now im starting to get her jumping.
I know she is slightly on the larger side the problem is she likes her food !! But your right she is already on a diet :)
 
well as everyone else is just being nice and I am being bored I shall attempt crit but no expert ;)

the things that stood out to me:

lovely head, neck etc
shoulder a bit upright, matched by pasterns (particularly in the first stood pic)
a bit over at the knee

I dont spot anything wrong from thereon back ;) though I too would want to be getting a bit of weight off and keeping an eye on it.

she does look lovely though :)
 
lovely looking mare :) very nice head and eye.
front limbs look upright- slightly over at knee and upright in the pasterns. prehaps a little toe in in front. other than that nothing major.
 
Gorgeous mare she is lovely Im not very good at confo but only thing I would add would be that her near hind looks like it turns out but it might just be the photos.
