Well I have managed to sell my lil companion pony, she goes to her new home next week.
But am thinking about acquiring a youngster to act as a companion to the one left when I go to shows etc, but not sure what breed to buy
Am looking for something from weaning to possibly 3yrs old, although not really looking for anything that needs backing right now
I would prefer a dun / buckskin or possible another unique (ish) colour, to make approx 15hh, gelding/colt depending on age preferred by OH not me as i'd be fine with a mare, but already have one slightly opinionated one
Something abit like this http://www.donedeal.co.uk/horses-for-sale/quality-half-bred-connie-15-1h-5-yrs/5309626 although doesn't have to be quite so fine build wise.
So any good tips on studs/dealers or auctions or any private ads appreciated. Not looking to buy one til after we get back from holiday end of August.
Or any views on breeds that make nice alrounders, not looking for anything too buzy so have kind of ruled out welsh D's
thanks

ets I've not bought a horse before, the two I already have were bought by my mum, although I was present when my mare was purchased, so am abit new to this horse shopping malarkey
