Just passing through...
... if (okay, so it's a big 'If'
) we could find a nice loan home for Little Lad, I'm contemplating getting a school master, around the 15.2hh mark, don't mind age, for me and child to share.
Daughter is almost as tall as me, and probably slightly less than half my weight. She's technically a better rider, whereas I am more experienced. She has a 13hh six year old cob that she wants to ODE with, and I have a 16.2-ish five year old Dutch Warmblood that I bought to BSJA.
Daughter refuses to sell cob, and I have to admit he's part of the family
. My girl is too much for daughter at the moment and certainly not experienced enough to help her.
Little Lad is too small for daughter, but she's light enough to ride him. She's decided to have a go at pony racing on him (eek!), to give him a purpose in life. Once he has a 'use' and people see him in action, I'm hoping someone will want him
.
The idea of getting one for me and child to share is to get round hubby's objections to keeping three neds
. Might be different once we have our own place
.
