How many of you met your non-horsey oh and converted him?
Mine is surpassing all expectations and i am very pleased!
When we met he had never been near a horse and had no interest in starting - now he has made a complete u-turn
He helps out with tasks at the field, happily encourages me to buy horsey things, assists with catching/leading/grooming/rugging/bathing etc, walked 4 miles with me and my youngster to a local show and proudly held him whilst i yapped to friends! He has even suggested it would be a good idea to buy a new car with towing capabilities so then we could have a trailer too
And now he has booked himself some riding lessons! I wouldve been happy to teach him the basics myself but only have an unbroken youngster, a foal and a tiny welsh pony so nothing suitable but he gets an A* from me for all his efforts!!
