As it says really - we have a couple of horses with Irish points (one with 30 and one with 50) and were wondering what these 'convert' into? Is there anywhere I can find out?
I *think* you would need to email the irish SJ office and get them to comfirm the points, then send the emails to BSJA and they will tell you how much they are going to put on the horses card. ( so what they think its the equivalent to) Thats what ive always done for dutch horse.
I'm pretty sure that when we converted my boys points they gave him £9 for every 1 point he had, I think the bsja check with the sjai themselves. Also, check out the sjai website for their records as they are brill- and free
I've checked the sjai website and their points are on there, we're not wanting to reg them with the bsja as they are both just hunters at the moment, but we were just curious as to what their points mean't...
Very interesting looking at their records - both our boys have done a lot more SJ than we ever realised!! One has won a lot at 1m, and the other has done mostly 1m & 1m10, with a couple of 1m20 as well

It still is........for ponies. Horses are £9 per point.
It confused me initially when I got my lad and checked out the BSJA site. For some reason the 2.5 stands out but the ponies bit doesnt.
