hollyandivy123 I was just about to say that! There is a BBC news article on it, also it gets treated more like a fibre and so keeps you fuller for longer! Freeze pasta sauce in ice cube trays the bag them once frozen, couple of cubes and reheat some pasta, add some cheese (grate a block on the weekend and store in a box) done in 5 mins!
 
Got a small slow cooker for one to two people for me and a bigger one for family.

Get a decent stock of stuff in freezer, I use farm foods and get

Fish fingers
Chips (oven)
Steam veg
Rice fusions
Chicken kiev or such

Then agree batch cook and freeze, Lakeland do boil in bags for quickness. Keep a ready meal in the freezer, I mean a decent one e.g. M&S then agree , rice, pasta, tuna, tinned tomatoes . Can rustle up meals in mins. You need to be organised though!
