. . . the product that you can put on horses hooves to help strengthen them please? My farrier suggested massaging a bit into the coronet band to help increase the blood flow and I can't remember the name of it. He only told me an hour ago! Many thanks

get some seaweed in his feed, really good for feet as well as everything else.
Also copr feed is supposed to be very good for feet as well as condition, we've only just stared using it so cant comment personally yet but heard great reports.

Thanks Cuppatea :) I swear if I spend any more money on his feet I am going to be homeless - in fact I might be a bit of a novelty with a horse on a string instead of a dog!

He is on better for hooves and keratex hoof gel, not to mention special balance shoes as well as cosequin for his joints (ex NH horse) and micronised linseed. If I get no quick results I'll try the seaweed.

I took him cubbing on Saturday and he lost 2 shoes, he'd only just been shod so that's what's made his feet worse - he'd hardly grown any new foot since the last shoes.

how long have you had him and how long have you been using the supplements and hoof stuff?
Seaweed works out really cheaply as you only use a tiny amount per day and the only side effects occur when seriously over feeding it.

Yeah, it seems to stimulate all hair growth! It does say on the tin that it can be used in this way, it's not something I experimented with myself and discovered!!
