I have left a note on my forum but will add it here before I drop. I thank each and everyone of you sincerely for supporting me. I am emotionally drained for reasons I have mentioned and the comments stung. Maybe they wouldn't have been so bad had I not felt to bad.
I do accept your apology totally and have said that on my forum.
I am sorry to mention the events of the last 6 weeks but they are relevant in so much as you never know what is going on with someone and your comments could hurt someone who is vunerable a lot. Also i thought it a good point to make regarding random.
I have put so much time and effort into Manage My Horse and love the way the competitions are working out. Honestly if anyone lives near me and wants to come and cut up post it notes with me feel free and it's very VERY boring.
Let's forget this now, there is loads on my site and if anyone wants a hand with it please let me know cate.ashton@manage-my-horse.com.
And there will be loads of competitions coming so do please check back!

Hi everyone I did want to clear up something that was mentioned about my site. It has played on my mind and I had to get up out of bed. OCD or what?
Harvesting. Ok under no circumstances will your personal information be shared with any third party. No email addresses will be sold and no one other than MMH will contact you. We will only contact you to tell you about competitions and send eMag our newsletter where our sponsors who support the site can write editorial.
The site is FREE, and will remain so. We will ONLY share statistical information with carefully selected third parties and by that I mean information along the lines of this . 30% of members use Dodson and Horrell feed, of those 20% feed their veteran mix and of those 10 % are under 15 years of age (the horse that is) and 2% are show jumpers living in Surrey. Information that will ultimately help and provide information to the equestrian industry, which, I have to say sadly lacks in good marketing information (so I am assured).
Under no circumstances will your personal information be shared and in fact you only need an email address to join.
I make this statement and more (formed of frequently asked questions) on the registration page so that it is really clear to you and to alleviate any worries about data protection. Simply put there is no need to add anything personal in any case.
The site allows you to create a comprehensive profile of your horse and the online journal for you horse is fantastic to store all your notes and categorise them making it easy to view them at a later date. It really is for everyone and you simply use as much or as little of your account as suits you and your circumstances.
It truly is for everyone and I hope this hasnt put anyone off if any way and if it has please email me so I can address any concerns.

CJ; Oops! Someone made a blunder. Wouldn't worry about it too much - we ALL do this from time to time. Well done for standing up and publically apologising when you found out you may have been mistaken.

Just coming in right at the end of this a couple of points:
Lots of people signed up ages ago, as has been said, and haven't posted on the mmh forum before. I'm one of them.
Secondly, I use unique email addresses for everything I sign up to so that I can tell who has sold my information. I have NEVER had emails addressed to my manage-my-horse unique addy other than directly from the site/Cate.
Cate, sorry to hear about your family. I've now had two deaths in mine since 22 August when my mother died and I can't imagine how you must feel. Sincere commiserations.
