Daisy - Advice Please

It could be a blockage caused by the formation of crystals of some kind; that can present in the same way as an infection. A scan can help diagnostically with that too but if it is a mass of some kind deffo get a proper biopsy and consider loxicom or similar. It is ghastly to be waiting and terrified but stay positive and you will know what the right course of action is when things are a bit clearer. My poor lad nearly died as a result of a very rare bladder crystals related problem but once diagnostics were clear I felt much better about the road ahead. He is fine now - though he needs a check up soon!

Oh no, I'm sorry to read this.

Did the vet do a needle aspiration of the stomach to check for internal blood loss? Unfortunately masses in the stomach/kidneys/spleen carry a pretty shitty prognosis - I lost my older (7) dog to a hemangiosarcoma a month ago. Keep us posted.
