For context.
As some of you will know, my partner and I have been away for two months in Thailand. Daisy has been with friends and their two dogs who she adores. We collected her on Sunday. She's been quite subdued since we collected her, which is something I was expecting. And I've put it down to missing her pals and readjusting to being at home.
She had her anal glands expressed this morning (they were mildly full) and also had ear drops for a very mild infection. She's had all of this before, and it's never been an issue in terms of bringing her down. Shortly after coming home she vomited twice. And she's been very withdrawn and lethargic all day. I took her back to the vet this afternoon. No temperature, heart rate good. No breathing problems. Not dehydrated. She's reverse breathed twice (which she never does). So she was given some Metacam in case of general discomfort from bottom and ears.
She's absolutely not right though, and I'm worried. She's 11 now, but is usually bubbly and enthusiastic.
Any thoughts on what I should be thinking about in terms of what could be wrong? Or am I just being a paranoid owner?
She'll be back at the vets in the morning if I'm still concerned.
