Dark bay horse owners?

Either

It was black when I bought her, now it is brown, but I am considering buying a black GP saddle so I will have to biy a matching black bridle.. So I will have a set of tack, one each colour

Personally I prefer nice havana tack on a dark bay.

Black, only because the saddle he came with is black. i think he would suit dark brown tack so will consider this when i get him a new saddle....I hate the tan tack though

Black... I did consider dark chocolate brown when I changed my saddle but then realised it would be really difficult to match the colours for bridle etc. I think it looks really smart but its so easy to colour match black!

My mare is more of a bright bay, but the horse I had before her was dark bay. I've always had black tack for dressage and brown for jumping - I think both look nice.

Black, because my first horse was a piebald and we're still using his saddle. It works better due to Dylan's seasonal colour changes - black in the winter and dappled mahogany brown in the summer.

Saddle is tan!

Not intentional, but it was too good a fit/deal to say no to! Very comfy and my bum covers most of it while riding anyway!

My bridle is havana (no danger of getting a matching one!) to try tone down the saddle!

I think given the choice, havana is nicest on dark bays, although black looks fine too.

Brown when I bought her, changed it all to black because my chances of showing her seemed so far away - maybe never.

Now regretting it and changing back to brown as I want to do M&M and ridden hunter.

All my tack is brown, a lot of it started out as London Tan. I am old school and believe that black tack is for funeral or driving tack

My mare is more a mahognay bay colour and looks fab in her Newmarket bridle and two tone tan jumping saddle. Just the usual black bridle and saddle for dressage though.

Have never been a fan of brown in the past but now converted.
