I should have gone Roeckl. I went Le Mieux as bought at a show - they almost fell apart after one 15 mile ride so can't recommend them.

My Just Chaps winter pair are pretty good but will be getting a Roeckl pair for this winter as well.

Definitely Roeckl. Wish I could remember the model of my last pair - they definitely weren’t for yard work, but for riding they were as soft as butter, and thin enough to be a second skin.

I've always had ariat but they just dont keep their grip anymore. I like my macwets climatec as sort of intermediate temp ones though and I've been using SSG's this spring/summer which I really like and with no loss of grip at all.

SSG all the way for me. They have an aquasuede palm which keeps its grip in all weather's. And they make them in many different sizes which means they actually fit my silly little hands! I had 1 pair that the aquasuede rubbed off in 2 days but that is 1 pair from 10 over the years. Each pair does me a year and a half to 2 years of abuse galloping racehorses with rubber reins.

Roeckl for me. The Madrid is pricey, but a great glove, so comfy and thin. I only use mine to ride though, they wouldn't stand up to yard work.

Well!! I've been a Roeckl girl for many years but baulked at paying nearly £40 for a pair!!! I took a gamble on Uvex ones (£26 amazon) and they are just like Roeckl, goods seams and soft as butter

Roeckls just fall apart with me, as I don't nurture them, SSGs are great, [the sport ones] but atm are loving these; very breathable. https://www.woofwear.com/event-glove
I'm noticing on FB there's all these copper infused gloves for arthritis and other fancy ones. My bug bear is letting the reins slip, and my fingers are fairly old and weak. I've started rubbing a bit of Effax Leder Grip Stick on the glove palms. Also I do this on the bum/thighs of beloved old breeches like my Pikeurs where the silicone has basically rubbed off and they're slippery as hell!

Ooh, thank you for that link! For that price I may well give them a go :)
I originally bought the bright pink ones so drivers could see when I signalled, but they were so nice I bought more. Lovely soft, grippy palms. The pink ones have got a bit bald on the palm after a year of use, as have the navy-blue ones I use for lessons and competing, but all seams are intact and the palms still seem to grip.

Another vote for SSG here, I have small hands and ridiculously long fingers and they’re the only ones that fit, but they’re also fairly affordable and last well, as well as comfy.

These? https://whiterosesaddlery.co.uk/product/ssg-all-weather-ladies-gloves/ Though say one size. I like the Mac Wets but are not waterproof but retain grip in the rain. Are the SSG ones waterproof too? Or similar to MacWet?

I've always bought lower end of the market and thought they were fine, then I bought Roeckl ones at Badminton as they seemed a really good deal (in terms of % off, they still weren't cheap) and now I won't wear any others. I love them. Mine have disappeared and I'm gutted, partly as they're expensive but most because I really like them and don't want to wear any others. I think I might have left them outside my stable and the yard puppy's stolen them. :(
