I've always bought lower end of the market and thought they were fine, then I bought Roeckl ones at Badminton as they seemed a really good deal (in terms of % off, they still weren't cheap) and now I won't wear any others. I love them. Mine have disappeared and I'm gutted, partly as they're expensive but most because I really like them and don't want to wear any others. I think I might have left them outside my stable and the yard puppy's stolen them. :(

One time I was walking from the tack room carrying saddle, bridle, hat and gloves. When I got to my stable, I realised I only had one glove and retraced my steps. I never found the other. I kept the single glove for years, even after I moved yards. Not sure why.

I keep all my odd socks and the other always turns up (usually inside my jods when I put them on after washing them) but that's all in my house. Keeping one glove, even through a yard move is a fair bit more optimistic!
