Decided to leave our friendly but very muddy DIY yard for pastures new. Two options
Gorgeous part livery with a school, stables that don't leak and lights in the barn that work! Or my friends lovely grass livery very much less flash but my horse isn't being ridden at the moment anyway! Not sure he will ever be well enough to work. If I knew he was goiing to get better it would be yard with school. Friend at grass livery is only three miles up the road and she has a mare I could ride too! Oh dear- help!

complete nobrainer! grass livery with friend plus mare! If your horse gets back in serious work reconsider, but the grass livery options sounds very suitable

The grass livery looks good but it's a smallish paddock. Would be ok for us to rest one and open up two. My friend has two horses there. So can't decide what to do. Other place is very smart and perfect if you ride. I could 'borrow' a horse there too!

I hate being one of those people who move yards! It's been nearly two years since we came to this one so horses will cope. Hope the vibe stays good just want life to be simpler.

Grass livery by ensure your friend knows and understands that you will move if your horse becomes rideable in the future!

If you go for the friends grass livery, will your horse fit in ok with their horses, presume they'll be sharing the paddock so who will be boss? Sounds good if yours won't end up being bullied, and may be a concern if he's not in good health. If other yard means use of a stable should your boy take a turn for the worse I'd opt for that.
