One all the family can ride at once!
Very sweet. And to add to ibblebibbles post, lack of suitable tack, body protectors & hi viz lol! Also kids should be matchy matchy with turnout rug.
Fab picture!!!!!
Should I confess at this point that when I was 13, my 2 friends and I only had 2 ponies between the 3 of us, and took it in turns to ride tandem out on hacks - at canter quite often, and we went out for 2-3 hours at a time. We did wear hats though. BUT the chin straps were neatly tied up on top of the peaks!![]()
hehehe naughty, we used to hide our hats in the hedge on the way out on our hack and pick them up on the way home![]()
Heaven forbid if my children behaved like that.![]()
with daughter in hysterics when he trotted![]()
Now I think this all shows the true nature of a family pony - I've entered family pony classes at shows and only one judge has ever looked for what I'd considered to be in the true spirit of something safe and sane for either grannie or your 3 year old. She asked us to trot past a jump wing with a scary coat draped over and stood in the middle of the ring opening and closing an umbrella with all the ponies happily unconcerned walking round. Every other class I've done has just called for a ridden show. Maybe it's elf and safety at it again in terms of what they can aske to see?
