denim breeches/jods recommendations purlease!

i am the queen of riding in denim
my faves are musto riding jeans - v comfy & plenty of stretch
also have equitech denim jods - not quite as comfy but have lasted for yrs
derby house have some 2 for 1 offers including denim jods & breeches
& best super cheapo alternative [ but it does involve having to go the primark] are their skinny fit jeans with lycra

I got myself some 'Splash' ones at Blenheim (there the stand that always has the hose pipe running down the jod leg) and have been really pleased with them, were quite inexpensive too.

arsing derby house only have size 24 or 34 left... and i think i'm 26 or 28... although, saying that, i have no idea what size i am... UK10...

but have seen some nice pikeur ones... maybe i'll put them on my xmas list... :D

thank you all again x

skinny moo bag! Just put on some weight like the rest of us fat arses and buy the 34!

Size 10 is definitely skinny in my books. It's the skinniest I've ever been in my life. Some might call it a healthy weight of course. But they're wrong because I need to eat all the ice cream that makes me a size 12-14 to be mentally healthy. Hehe.

Typical that they've sold out. I quite like the look of the mountain horse ones. They're on my Christmas list :)

Naughty clipcloppop - I have just gone and bought some denim jods from rideaway having read your post and deciding that I really really did need some too.... I blame my OH too - he shouldnt go out and leave me alone with the computer, a credit card and a bottle of white wine!

yeah I got mine from YHL for £20 online they are double. I am normally 12/14 but needed 16 I do like them. They are high waisted and Not as comfy as cotton because of the fit around the crotch area (I find them a bit tight there and top of inside leg). But I do like them a lot. They were a little big around my waist but now I have had 3 months off they fit great LOL In fact you inspired me to try them on and I am sat here wearing them. I think once worn in they will be great!!

Hac Tac all the way! Stretchy, warm and comfy.

And if you want durable and non-fading - had them out recently and got a couple of 'Wow, they're great, did you get them at Blenheim?' comments.

...They're 15 years old and good as new :D
