Denim jods ideas please

I have trashed my lightweight denim stretchy straightleg jods, aarrhhhh!
So comfy, am looking for another pair, not posh or costing fortunes.
Shires Saddlehuggers have been mentioned, any reports of this make?
I will be needing 16 to 18 long, not hipsters.
Pockets would be a bonus.
Google throws up Equi shopping, anyone shopped with them?
Or other ideas, willing to look at second hand.

I got mine from Countrywide - they're their own make, Kadence I think. They don't have them online, but they're around £30 in the shop. Very stretchy, lightweight and hardwearing with jeans type pockets. I've got two pairs!
 
I like the full seat ones from Derby house. I think they are £55 ish but usually they have a BOGOF offer so you'll get 2 pairs for this price.
 
I ADORE my Rugged ones - Have them in blue & back denim - they are about £65 but well worth it! Very comfy, hard wearing and look realy smart.
If you go Rugged - get the size down from what you would normally have as they do 'give' a bit.

I also bought Derby House BOGOF - There too are nice, not as comfy as the Ruggeds and I would suggest a size bigger than you need - I normally take a 28, my DH are a 30 and still cut in to my tummy.

Huge thanks for all the ideas, lots of makes I hadnt known as I am not in UK.
I will make some enquiries tomorrow as I need very lightweight fabric, its 35 degrees here right now!
 
Ive got the Harry Hall ones off Equestrian Clearance. They were only £19.99 and are well worth the money. They are true to size and stretchy. Ive tried the Derby House ones but they were massive and more jean like than the HH and not as stretchy. My friend wears Gersemi and loves them. They look lovely but have a price tag to match :) I did get her a pair from Derby House in the sale though, they were £79
 
Horseware do a nice denim jod or it could be a breech ... cannot remember ... very stretchy and seem to be very popular . Hac-Tac also do/did a stretch denim ( so proper jean type of material ) jod , which was very hardwaring. Cannot remember but Ive seen at some shows a denim jod that is water repellent but dont know its name.
 
pegasus breeches and jods are great, not too thick, very stretchy. got a few pairs from equiwear online.

I got some called 'Sherwood Forest' from Robinsons back in Feb/March love them. Want another pair to take on hols with me and went to get some from Robinsons last weekend but there were none by that name anymore. Got some Requisite ones which are very high up the waist - test drove them at the weekend and felt like Simon Cowell!!!!! I don't have a wide waist which doesn't help. Think they are going to be too warm for my hol in the USA (trail riding), as I need to wear a waist bag type thingy for all my personal stuff and can't stand the thought of the heat it will all generate. Can't bear to ride in jeans, even though I ride western all the time, jods were made for the job whichever saddle you use.
But at least they should be denim colour.

Can you buy direct from Sherwood then?

Lazy S - while you are in the USA go to Cavenders or Sheplers (or any local western wear store) and try on some Wrangler Q Baby jeans. They were specifically designed for riding and are SOOOO comfy. If you prefer a straight leg jeans, try Wrangler Natural Rise Stonewash (red stitching). Both have a bit of stretch. I will never buy jeans in the UK again, I'm a total convert.

I don't wear jods at the mo as my horse isn't being ridden English yet, but Dublin denim ones look nice and very economical!

Will look at the Pegasus ones. I noticed they are made by Richard Gorringe, and Gorringe either is or used to be a very good make.
I got a pair of their lightweight black jods from Townfields, and was pleased with the comfort factor.
I must have cool material, here in France we have 38 degrees right now,
I need knee reinforcements for adhesion and comfort during long rides, so leggings are a no no,
I have nearly made my decision, thanks to all who have helped.

Thank you ironhorse - I do intend to do some shopping while I am there the first week. Was looking up those kind of shops in Bozeman on the internet - poor old credit card!!!
I don't like jeans as I am suffering from middle-age-spread now and just don't find them comfy. But am open to suggestions. My friend was on about some jeans called CrazyGirl (I think that was it), anyway she is not suffering from M-A-S like me (moo) and gets away with anything and everything!!!
A friend on FB found it amusing that over here we are keen on western and over there they are keen on English!!! She looks a bit like me in shape and likes jods too.
