Has anyone bought dermapred from theanimalpharmacy.com? Is it legal (without a prescription in this country)? Do you know where they are based? Is it the same as dermobion?

Yup, no problem. Also called vetorder.com No, not legal, but it gets through customs fine. Dermapred is Dermobion, it's just the continental name for it. Works absolutely brilliantly on mudfever just like it always did. Jar is huge and will last a lifetime!

They also charge your carrd through an English supplier. Don't worry about it, it goes through fine and no-one charges your card with a thousand quids worth of TV and video stuff a month later.

I was charged the earth for dermobion, along with antibiotics many yrs ago by a vet in essex for chronic mudfever,it was shite tbh, didnt like the stuff at all

used it for over a wk with no result at all,i then binned it and hibiscrubbed everynight in hot water which brought off all scabs without scrubbing/picking,dried and left overnight,it had pretty much cleared within 2 wks

maybe be works for some but personally i wouldnt waste my cash, hibiscrub is fab stuff!

Thanks everyone - I've really missed Dermobion. Husband doesn't want me to use site coz he reckons it's dodgy! Good to know no problems with credit card. Think I'll do it & not tell him. Cant use hibiscrub on horse - sensitive to it. I find that he is sensitive to so many mud fever treatments - so many make it worse, but dermobion really used to work.

I thought the same! I was very worried until it arrived, but I've used the site three times now. I buy horse and cat antibiotics too, and they work as well. It's the green dermobion, just like we old timers know and love! The case above is the first one I have ever heard of not working, but I guess the exception proves the rule as usual. The person who can still get it from their vet is lucky, it's not licenced for use in the UK and mine only give me Fuciderm, which was effective short term but incredibly expensive to keep repeating. The dermobion cured it completely (mine was verrucal dermatitis - looks like mud fever with a warty surface and comes back every three months if you don't kill it completely).

Ah, thanks guys - I was also wondering about this site after using up the last of our old tube of dermobion. Happy to see you can pay using paypal - feel a bit more confident now but
