I went to visit him this morning, let are reducing the amount of times they drain his belly, and now only getting a little above normal. He is on millions of drugs for matiance, antibiotics becuase of surgory and drugs to help his small intestine work. They did a scan by the time we came about about an hour later, it was good news as the intestine was slowing moving.
However I think the vet was trying to prepare me for idea of letting him go, his heart rate is around 70 odd (should be more like 30) Then theres the weight lose and slightly trembling. The vets are all puzzled by him for sure. They are trying to hurry the grass sickness results. I know that if its positive even with chronic the vets aren't sure hes suitable to save. I think I was more prepared to let him go the first day, the longer he's suviving the more I get hope.
I got to take him out for 10minuits, He had one or two nibbles, much was more interested in surroudings, dragging me down to end of passage and more keen on walking then grazing.
