Dexter is a killer!!

I found a young wood pigeon in the garden this morning. Something had had a go at it but it seemed fairly bright so moved it to a safer place, gave it some food and left it be.
I have just found it's body! Although I didn't witness it's demise I am fairly sure Dex was the culprit. They say cats are the worst for killing birds....well apparently not in our house.

Dexter has the same blood thirst as my akita in ther kennel we have found, rats, a baby duckling birds inc pidgeons, a cat (that had already expired she jsut dragged it in there) and she woke me at 4.30am tossing a hedgehog in the air last week

What do you expect, he is one of those scary rotties! Evie is partial to the odd pigeon, and rabbit. I used to think she was mugging the cats but she has certainly caught bunnies herself. Another killer german breed.

I found a dead shrew in B's waterbowl once. I imagine B's chat drove it to suicide he certainly told me he had nothing to do with it, was stood staring at it, in a mortified fashion!!!

He didn't actually eat it though. Just caused it some serious health issues. This morning there is not a lot left so something enjoyed dinner on dopey Dex!! As for eating my face off.....well that is a distinct possibility, have you seen the size of his gob.
