Any views gratefully received please. I bought a 15.3hh rising 6 mare for dressage at the end of last summer as she had excellent breeding, ace paces and 6 months later have discovered she hates dressage (too boring) but loves jumping and she can really perform! I think it's a waste to keep trying to make her do dressage and I can't jump due to an old horse related back injury. She is already clearing 4ft and just wants to do more and more.
I have advertised her for sale but may have got the price wrong as although I had 6 replies only one came to view and they were timewasters unfortunately - the kid wouldn't even trot over a pole on the ground!
Should I reduce the price quite a lot or drastically or keep her for a while until spring / early summer and the market picks up or perhaps send her out on loan to a decent competition home (if I can find one) so she at least gets to go to parties? If she stays with me I am not going to be able to jump her much - I've been paying a good young girl to school her jumping recently but can't keep going on the costs front.
Any other ideas? (There's no issue about having enough room for her, it's just the waste of a great jumper and not enough funds to keep paying for her to be schooled by someone else).
