Do I really look too big on him?

You scared me then, I was thinking ahh another poor condition comment:o maybe he is worse than I see him!!
:D
I don't understand either it's always the same " why didn't you buy something more SUBSTANTIAL
"if you want to do some show jumping etc in future why not buy a 16.2?!

Yes I want to eventually do SJ with him, just unaff stuff obviously! But the turns this pony can do, well we will see who has the last laugh:D

Love the colours and marking, very unique too

you look fine! a perfect match size wise. what is the flowering plant in the garden? i could use some flowery colorful bushes for the feb/march time????????????

You look fine. The same fool who says you're too big will no doubt say he's too big when you get his topline built up, a yard know all will always find something to criticize.

i would attempt to post a pic of me - over 50 -with a far less enviable tum than yrs on my 4.1 [ on her tippy hooves :D] little coloured cob - we do fine even if she feels v different to the much missed [RIP] big Rubes - all 17.1 of her
your cob is lovely

he's in quite poor condition I have to say, v. little muscle.

Disagree his bum looks quite a muscle sticking out! You look fine on him. He is sturdy boy and can carry you. He doesnt look too bothered?

Anyhow if you have finished with him can you post him to me? Perhaps I can say you are too big and he would be good for me instead!

lovely markings, think you send him my way to come and live with my standie xx

Hehe no chance, I wouldn't sell him for all the money in china:D

You're all trying to steal him:o he's going to get such a big head if I let him see all this:rolleyes::D

I am really sad I even looked to see where you were in case you were too big(you are) sell him to me! ha ha....good luck you are lucky. Its great when you find a good'en.You hang on to him.... He looks a lovely type & its true when you hear "hard to find" and yes we are all trying to pinch him from you.

Thank you, just some comment basically saying he's quite small and don't you think you would've been better off with something bigger?..:o I love him to bits and I'd never part with him for love nor money plus I don't really want a bigger horse:o

I've had this many times over the years (riding an exmoor). I'm at the stage now where I simmply reply, 'No, I don't think I need anything bigger.' and just ride off. I've tried reasoning with these types, but some people are still set in the pony=child, horse=adult mind.

Agree about the muscle, though. Henry has gone like this in late spring, before (me making his diet too stringent!).
