Unless they misconstrued your post, and the injury issue is going to be resolved and the mare fully fit functioning and pain free, before being put in foal with low change of it happening again, FG has a point in breeding - the weight of all the fluid plus foal is a massive strain on a healthy animal, never mind something with leg/back issues
I see what you mean - your original question digressed from the one you asked, to one in which your motives were questioned and suspected as foolhardy.
