I'm so fed up tonight
frown.gif
I had the afternoon off because it was going to be sunny and my plan was to clip both horses, ride in the sunshine and put big horse in the lorry to make sure he fits ok. Got to the yard, about to start clipping and realised I'd left blades at home

I couldn't go back and fetch them because the cam belt went on my car last week, so I'm having to get lifts everywhere. Thought 'ok - i'll ride'.

Got horse all tacked up, went in the school, did a couple of circuits in walk and then the mare in the field next to the manege came over and started snorting at him, then turning round to kick out at the fence. He decided he wasn't going to do any more work, started napping etc (I think his back is out a bit still, but it was no excuse) to the point where I had to take him in

Ok- so I thought I'd put him on the walker for 20mins then try him in the lorry. Would he go in? Nope....

By this time I'm getting increasingly pi55ed off! Managed to get him as far as front feet inside lorry, but no further. He didn't stress, so I'm going to try again at the weekend.

It just seems like everything I do at the moment is a disaster

We bought a house before Christmas and it needs far more work than we thought

Our budget has spiralled out of control and worrying about the money is a nightmare. My car died and I can't afford a new one and now my horse has decided that whatever I want to do - he doesn't

I came back from the yard tonight and spent half an hour sobbing in the bathroom cos it's just all too much at the minute
frown.gif
Oh God - now I'm roaring again....For heavens sake! Sorry it's so long - I know people are going through much worse but I'm just feeling so fed up
frown.gif
Things were going so well before we moved and now it's just one disaster after another

I feel like I should just forget it and sell everything and take up cross-stitch or something

I know exactly were you are coming from.Horse had surgery for hock fusion wednesday.Manageress handed her notice in Tuesday.House went up for sale today.Other business has got to go not viable had to give bad news to staff.OH cant have a day off because manageress handed notice in.Not sure if my boy will load to come home on saturday because he really didnt want to go on trailer wednesday morning.I think we are in the same place.

It's not much fun, is it? I've had enough of everything going wrong - I'd just like to try and do something and it work, for a change. I only wanted a potter round the school - I wasn't going to ask a lot of him. Damn horse
mad.gif
can't he tell I'm stressed out?

sara when you are stresed out and tired only the smallest things get to you. If everything was going ok at home then you wouldnt really care about forgetting the blades or tanga playing up. Its a nightmare about your house i didnt realise you were having so much trouble with it, thats the problem about buying property you view it twice then buy it and only realise once your in how much you have got to do (this happened with our last house!) My husband says that people spend more time checking out a sterro than a house! So true!

Por yourself a huge glass of wine and hopefully everything won't seem t obad in the morning (yes it will you are probably saying!!!)

I work in london and travel home on a friday afternoon , and tonight I was ment to have dinner with a friend and she canceled while I was sat waiting for her . So I am still hungry so I order some food then eat my food then go to pay , but my purse has gone !
I got cash back in M&S at 3 30 think I must have had it taken or lost it then , managed to cancel my cards but now have to go into bank to get cash for train and to give the girl who looks after my horse in Yorkshire .
Finished with my boyfriend the other week moved out and now staying at my sisters , Christmas with him was a nightmare can this year get any worse ?

I'm tyring tol ook on the bright side but it's hard when so many things go wrong at one. Then I read other peoples posts and think I must sound like such a whinger!

I've already tried the wine option, thanks zip - half a bottle later and I'm still upset - hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow.

Kinderhorse - sounds like you could do with the other half of this bottle of wine! I hope you sirt out your purse

Last year was like that for me, but it does get better. Mum (74) was diagnosed with a recurrance of cancer, sister (who I share the house and the animals with) broke her leg and was out of action for months, Dad had to have a prostate op. Plus we had the house re-roofed, windowed and re-wired! Amber had put her neck out and took ages and a new saddle to put right, then she had to have a change of diet. Got to December and it all started to come together again! Mum is now much better, sister is now back in the saddle a bit, Dad is fine and Amber is back to the wonderful horse I had this time last year. There were days when the slightest thing would reduce me to a gibbering nut job, but you plod on and eventually it turns round.

This sounds minimal compared to what has happened to all of you above but so far this year I've had my darling big horse put down, the owner of the horse I've got on loan is trying to sell her for much more than she's worth and I can't afford her and to top it off the horse galloped over the top of my dog (the love of my life) this morning who is now full of stitches and incredibly unhappy. Oh not to mention the damage done to my car in the floods...!!

Life's a bugger!!
