Usually flat on my back, broken up only by landing on the ground pole of a fence last year and fracturing my coccyx. Safely said the post painful thing that has ever happened. ever.
Whenever I fall its shoulders first hitting ground then body swings to the left and hit the knee. It doesn't matter what way I fall off its always ends the same. Is anybody else like this or is it just me.
Stormy Moments, be grateful you DON'T put your hands out, quickest way to a broken wrist!
I usually land head/face first...i buy new helmets often...![]()
Agree!Yep, me too. It can really hurt. Once I was unconscious for twenty minutes, another time resulted in a bad neck for two years. Jumping falls aren't usually so bad as they usually result in a fall out of the side door. I once had a rotational fall. Unbelievably both my mare and myself were totally unhurt, but it was terrifying whilst it was happening.
