Well just to add some perspective on it, we're now great pals!
It was all very fraught, my horse is horrid in the stable and her horse was a wuss and we were both stressed, so when we first met it was a massive spat.
Then a few days later we sat down and chatted and it turned out her over protectiveness of her horse was well founded - she'd lost a horse recently. And my aggro ness was too (stressy mare I am) and we put it to bed.
She helped me loads over winter and I return the favour by doing her stable and she's almost become a surrogate Mum - she chides me for working too much overtime and letting myself be stressed...
I just wanted to say to those of you suffering with liveries etc - its mean't to be fun and enjoyable - so where possible, bury the hatchett, apologise (even if you don't think you are in the wrong) and create a better atmosphere.
It can work out
