Does anyone on Guernsey know of a pale palomino mare, standing about 15hh, white blaze. Called Honey. Freezemarked on the shoulder but can't remember the numbers. She was called Paris when we owned her, but her name was changed. She had her vaccination card with her though, with paris on. We sold her about 96. Would love to know if she's still there, the owners did get in touch, and said she had a home for life.
 
casanova and hot2trot where do you keep your horses? i sold my horse to guernsey last year and would love to know how he is. he went to a place that is a livery yard and riding school and also does BD comps i think- can't for the life of me remember the name tho.....

Diggerbez mine are kept at home. The yards we have here are Melrose, Manor and Baubigny, but if you let me know the horses name I came make some enquries for you.

Callipso there is a pali mare with white blaze about 5 mins away from me (think it also has freemark), will try and find out if it the same horse.
 
My loan horse is kept at Les Piques, which is a private yard.

Sounds to me like it was most likely Melrose as they hold a lot of BD comps. As Casanova said do you have horses name, we can prob help as v small island!

Having said that, I'm afraid I can't help re the pali mare.
 
i think it was manor something thats ringing a bell... i dealt with a lady called mrs dorey but it was a client of hers who bought the horse. he's called ozka and is the grey horse in my siggy but is paler than that now.

Update!

My friend is asking a friend of hers who keeps her livery at Melrose if Ozka is still there diggerbez.

I sent her this link to forward on, but in the meantime, she actually was able to help re Honey Ihotse! She is actually at the same yard, Melrose as diggerbez and I have been discussing and is happy and well.

(Told you it was a small island!)

ha ha, you are a star! i lost Mrs Dorey's number when i changed my phone- always meant to check how he was getting on but sort of forgot and then didn't haver the number
