Does anyone use seaweed as a supplement?

I use Seaweed and Rosehip for my guys. My old boy finds it tough this time of year with coat change etc. I notice the change in him. His coat changes without becoming dull etc. He keeps the vitality he has. (28yrs young) With the others it just gives them a boost n keeps them looking great. :)

Hi Crazy Fresian, how much do you feed? I've read that too much is very bad but then I've also read that it's very beneficial when fed correctly

I use it, it's great for coats and hooves. I give 1 scoop with each feed. The scoop I use came with another supplement I bought - that standard small scoop thingy :D

I tried it with rosehip on my horse, he loved the rosehip but wouldn't touch the seaweed!!!! He spat out all the little bits! It was very funny to watch.
I have a whole (opened) bag you can have if you want to try it!

lol it smells very strong! I've bought a bag but i've yet to open it but thanks for the offer. Apparently it's from Canada but knowing my luck it'll be off Blackpool Beach lol :D

I use it for my youngster, his breeder swears by it, says its packed full of good minerals for growing boys! He certinaly seems happy and healthy on it. He's always had it in his diet so there has been no difference to notice.

I use it on my 14.2hh 17 y/o part loan mare. Haven't noticed an awful lot of change but she is generally very healthy other than her Cushings.
I use a scoop mixed in her feed.
Tried it on owners other horse too but it gave her the squits! :o:o

we use it on everything, it really flushes their systems out when you start using it like a detox (hence the squits kellysheroes!) but it is soooo good for coats and general health. definately reccomend it!
