Yes always, they usually see my car pulling up and have walked over to the gate by the time I'm walking up.... But I'm under no illusions, it's the food they're coming for!

Very very rarely have to get either of my boys. Chance (my old boy) ALWAYS comes to me, very often at top speed and from whatever distance!! lol. New boy is learning fast so am hoping he will be the same ;)

I very often get people wishing their horse(s) were like mine as pretty much everyone else on my yard has to go get theirs!! :D

My boys love their mum :) or maybe its the treat waiting in my pocket!

Yes, but only b/c there is limited grazing in his field at the mo and he's hungry . . . he may "like" me but I'm under no illusions . . . if that field were fetlock deep in grass he'd not give me a second look.

One buggers off over the horizon when he sees me coming, the other two wander up occassionally but are never interested unless they can smell mints in my pockets, my loan horse waits for me to come home and then chases the car up the drive, and always follows me round the field and bolts over when she sees me at the gate. Will be gutted to see her go :(

If i'm obviously packing carrots then yes otherwise he just pricks his ears at me, looks all happy and waits for me to go to him
Mum's horse will come when she's called tho, she whickers and runs over whenever she sees anyone! The big tart! :D

Always comes to me, he is normally the only one waiting at the gate for me while the others are happily grazing. Wondering what breed? He is a woosey warmblood of course!

Doris - yes
Saffy - yes
Beau - No. He hates me and the feeling is mutual. Normally have to get daughter to catch him. He likes her.
Dooney - Sometimes but I normally have to go to him. He's not food orientated so therefore harder to bribe. :(

I have to walk about halfway before he wanders over to me and then moves away when I go to put on his headcollar, unless I have a snack of course... he does this about 3 times then comes over and puts his head in it and lets me catch him perfectly. Strange animal!!!!
Also, in the summer when he lives out, when he sees me carrying his saddle over to the field he goes and has a big wee and a poo, ready to be ridden!!!

Yes :(

I can't do a thing without them sticking their noses in, and I don't even have to call them, all it takes is for one to hear the chain on the gate rattling :D If I want them I bang the gate or yell, I sound like a cowman calling the herd in for milking when I do that. With the horses in the paddocks by the house they only have to hear the back door being opened and heads are up waiting to see who comes out, OH and E they ignore, they start shouting if it is me.

I am reduced to sneaking around the fields hoping they won't see me sometimes. Up to 15 big mares coming at you full speed is not funny, scares the pants off the dogs for a start.

My Owners have individual calls for their horses and I always find it amusing to see just that particular horse peel off from the group to come up to be fed/whatever.

If horses don't come to me then they don't get fed full stop, I don't do walking to find a particular horse. They soon learn to come when I want them though.

Mine are at home so they don't come every time they see me! Although they both look up. As soon as I call or whistle them they come straight over. The exception is in spring time when they feel a bit more independent due to the grass coming through!! Although the id is a real people horse, he'd walk miles for a stroke! The tb generally follows him!

Like Enfys. Yes. And then they follow me about getting in the way whilst I muck pick and move the fence. Both of them, even when living out, will come over for a cuddle/noggin scratch in the morning. They must be all they want as they don't get anything else from me in the summer. They'll happily follow me round for as long as I'm up there usually. Idiot creatures!! I can walk up to them when they're laying down in the field sometimes, that's the only time they don't come to me!

It all depends wether I have just turned them out !! If they think they are going to get pulled in too early then you just rattle a bucket but one a NF is always with me if I am out there poo picking or whatever , he loves human company.

Always comes to call, whether there's plenty of food in the field or not :) If he's expecting me, quite often it's a saunter over, if he's not, he tends to bomb over calling!

Yep, all of them come to call if they haven't already seen me. They come over when they see me 99% of the time, I do have to call them occasionally though. Vary rarely have to go across the fields to get them over.
