Most of the time my girl does but she's normally stood hogging the gate anyway so I don't have to lol

I've only had my yearling colt since November '11 and was so made up with him tonight, I went to the field and called his name once and he looked up, ears pricked forward and came over to me! Very proud mummy moment :)

Or do you have to go to them? Bridie will come in her own time (usually 10 minutes) but sometimes will come straight away!

My Bridie always comes straight away (but has to have a pee first!) I'll let her off as she has Cushings! lol.

Ps, my lovely farrier George who recently (sadly) moved back to Scotland, told me that Bridie in Scotland means Sausage Roll:p Did you know that?
My Bridie was most offended when he told us lol

My horse adores me so much he follows me like a lamb whickering softly... Naturally all that stops when I actually give him his dinner and my ego deflates :D

He does come when called, sometimes I have to call him quite a few names when he is having a bit of a moment but generally yes, he comes to me.

My 18 month old has now decided that she too has to call him. Rather hilarious when I am yelling out his name like a goose and then you hear a tiny echo behind me :p

Tigger will normally come, I may have to be patient about it as he likes to walk and stop lots, other times he will thunder over. He's always wiggling his nose and whickering when I go to get him and he sees me, makes my heart melt lol however 100% sure it's just the food he loves :)

Yep, he come running down the hill at full pelt with the rest of the herd behind him (he is the herd leader) sounds like thunder when they're all galloping down the hill. Then its me first, me first attitude at the gate with me ushering them all back before I can get my boy out the gate!

One of mine will come thundering over and then more often than not wont be caught.

The other you normally have to go over to, but will put his own headcollar on!
