Does your horse Neigh to you?

Anytime I approach, usually because he wants food lol. First thing in the morning he does it JUST before I walk round the corner

Mine whickers at me almost everytime I walk around the corner then when she can hear me in the feed room she neighs for me to hurry up

It took her a matter of months to start doing that. Shes an affectionate girlie.

K will whicker at me but he thinks I have food so that doesn't count. He does however neigh loudly at my boyfriend. Mainly when he cycles off on a hack. I think I am seen as the witch what makes him work whereas OH is the nice boy who brings treats. Humph. Obviously my treats aren't good enough.

Yes all of mine to do. Inka will bellow every time she sees me. I'm sure its because she wants more food.

Yep shout him from gate and he does this really high pitched neigh which we find amusing as he's a welsh cob it just doesn't match then toddles up to gate
The mare neighs hers is actually deeper than the boys tho she looks like a lady.

Mine whickers every time I walk over to her. I'm told she goes ballistic in her stable when she hears my car pull up in the mornings, neighing, running round in circles and banging the door. I've never seen her doing it but had wondered why her stable is always trashed in the morning.

mine does. he started it after i'd had him about 3 months. he'll do it when he sees me heading towards the field to fetch him and then when he sees his bucket coming. its really cute and i love it when he does it. i guess its in comparison to my previous pony who wud run in the opposite direction at the sight of me unless i was carrying her bucket!!!!

Yes both mine whicker, whinney and neigh at me. The gelding more often than the mare although she has the cutest little whicker.

Yes but not all the time. Bijou and Xanten are more likely to say hello than Barney who is too 'chilled' to do greetings.

Yes, when he's in the stable but rarely from the field. He is quite 'chatty' when he's in anyway and will whicker at anyone if he thinks they've got a polo
