Dog beds - any recommendations?

My LabxSpringer is getting older and I feel he would benefit from a cosier bed. He likes to have high sides around him and a squishy base. I just wondered if anyone has any experiences of good sites for me to browse?

www.horseloverz.co.uk is quite good, they sell lots of pet things. I got a durabed for my terrier from them, it was a great price.

No recs as such, but if he's getting older it could be wise to get an open fronted bed as they are easier to get into/out of. Our old girl loves her open fronted sofa bed, extra large so that she can stretch out as much as she wants to, now that curling up/uncurling is tougher.

Our girl has got one called the dogs doodahs and its lovely, we got her first one from Burghley last year and bought her another one this year so she has one upstairs and one downstairs. They wash well and don't lose their shape

I have a bed stuffed with Alpaca wool and it is fantastic. The dogs love it and it is supposed to be great for older dogs as the wool heats up.
