Bearing in mind the problems the bitch had last time I think you are mad to even consider breeding from her again, it is totally irresponsible and shows a complete lack of consideration for the bitches welfare regardless of whether you might have homes lined up for the puppies or not

Just to add i am in a foul mood about so called "breeders" today after having a litter of puppies dumped on the door step of the shelter this morning from a so called "responsible breeder" and we later found the mum dead by the side of the road obviously hit by a car.

And a responsible breeder is not someone who finds a home for the pups because a so called responsible breeder gave a spaniel to my sister in law and i wouldn't trust them with a gold fish.

To answer Simstars question to me from page 1 (in case he comes back), what I meant re bitches bleeding after mating was bitches carrying on showing colour from their season after mating. In fairness to simstar (having already said I wouldn't have mated the bitch), I would guess those pups were about 4 weeks in pic, so born end of May, bitch mated end of March, so if she has just been mated now it is quite possible she has had a clear season in between, which in the eyes of the KC is enough break, though not in the eyes of quite a few of us on here.
As to the rest of the posts/ramblings from you mad lot , what can I say

ETS. I'm actually quite scared sometimes to admit on here that I have bred puppies, and may possibly do so again in the future , suspect I will be ex communicated from here at that point.

In answer to the OP - I would not breed again from this bitch but then I wouldn't breed anyway, so I don't suppose my opinion counts for much! There are a lot of puppies in the world, so I think that only the best dogs, in terms of health, temperament and conformation, should be bred from, in much the same way as ought to be the case for horses.
