Dog gone for a trial visit

Has anyone heard how Penny less is?

No, we've no news as yet.

I've been waiting for this thread to get bumped with some news my thoughts are with her during this time.

As you all know I posted a card from us all to Penny Less but ad she didn't sign for it we didn't know if she'd been there to receive it.































Between @Rowreach and myself we tracked down someone who knew Penny Less in real life.































They tried messaging and calling PL but didn't receive any response. They kindly went to visit the house and met PL's neighbour.































The neighbour said that sadly Penny Less had been taken to hospital the Thursday before by ambulance. After that someone came to the house and collected the dog and the car. The person left their contact number with the neighbour who promised to get in touch if they heard anything further.































Rowreach and I didn't want to post the half story that we knew and cause any speculations. We wanted to wait to hear from the neighbour to be sure.































Unfortunately we haven't heard anything and as it is now four weeks since Penny Less went into hospital we wanted to share what little we know with everyone who has been caring towards and worried about Penny Less.































If the worst has happened I hope she knows how many friends she had here. I'm so very sorry that the card doesn't appear to have reached her to let her know this.

That doesn't sound hopeful. Let's hope she's free of pain now.

Yes I thought that too. I’d love to be wrong. It happened that way for my friend too, who had the same illness. It sounded like PW had done everything she could to get her dog safe and cared for, so fingers crossed it’s ok. PW was pretty damned impressive in how she dealt with everything her diagnosis threw at her.

PL’s story has shown us the worst and the best of this forum, I’m glad for the most part it’s been the best bits.
