Dog injured while at the vets

Sorry to hear about your dog op. Glad she seems to be improving. From the options you e given I would day if she is happiest in the hall and less likely to hear the other dog so much I would shut her in there. Maybe a cool mat would encourage her to lie on it so she isn't getting up from the hard floor?

If you’re house sitting, why not collect her and take her with you?

So just got home, she's getting up fine and totally sound on it now, she had tramadol this morning but not last night and no metacam this morning as it had run out so all seems good. Still swollen but going down. I've put a cool mat down for her and will keep her confined for a few more days but she's a million times better today and is on less meds ?

I am absolutely the worst for jumping to the worst conclusion and panicking. I'm also a huge control freak and not good at "wait and see" lol

Back home for a few hours and you would never know anything had been wrong except for a bit of residual swelling ?
