Not wanting to start a raging argument here - so please can we keep this non judgmental - but I'm always curious about what breeds people really like and why.
I'll go first . . . as we have two collie crosses I'm bound to say that I like that particular cross . . . but collies can be difficult dogs to own/love b/c they can be so very sensitive and easily ruined. I do love a good sprollie (border collie/spinger cross) provided the collie side doesn't overdominate - they are fun, energetic, VERY loyal and the clowns of the dog world (that's the springer). Ditto springers . . . daft and clever at the same time, soft natured, natural clowns and athletic.
I have a soft spot for staffies . . . ditto lurchers . . . any dogs that are (in the case of staffies) that good with kids and (in the case of lurchers) that fast and elegant are (to me) worth their weight in gold.
There aren't any particular breeds I don't like . . . although I don't go a bundle on anything small, yappy and nippy - but that's often more down to the individual temperament of the dog and how well (or not) it's been brought up by the owner.
So - how about you? What do you like/dislike (and I won't be offended if you say you don't like border collies - they really are marmite dogs).
