Given that the government is planning to bring in an order to prevent anyone over 70 leaving their home what will happen to the thousands of dogs that belong to elderly people? How will they get exercised or even go outside to do their business if they live in a flat? Will dog owners ignore the order or will they be living with very unhappy dogs. I do wonder how on earth Boris could enforce such a draconian measure. I would rather risk the virus and do my own self isolating than become a prisoner in my own home. This potential law will create a huge sense of loneliness and depression amongst the elderly which in my opinion is more dangerous than the virus as the stress could cause heart attacks, strokes or even suicide.
