Who got doggy things for Christmas then?

I got tickets for Crufts, warm, lightweight, waterproof dog walking gloves and a whistle and a lanyard made by Thistle.

Very happy!

Got a beautiful lanyard from Gundog Lanyards, some Chris Christensen grooming stuff for the spaniels and a Musto Whisper jacket for working/training the dogs :)

Sort of...I got money for new boots (as standing about in wet grass seems to trash them quicker than yomping up mountains).
And I got four of my favourite professional shots mounted in a big frame as a present to me lol.

ooo nice, what Chris Crhistensen stuff did you get? I've only really started using some of their products in the last year and really love it.

I'm trying to think, but I don't think I got any dog related stuff, apart from the waterproof socks I asked for - for doing agility in. I bought some trail shoes but they have no waterproof ability so hoping the socks do the job.

Apart from that, maybe the new Mp3 player counts, which I use at work lol

I'm still waiting...:(
I ordered four beautiful collars from uk,which were posted out on the 8 dec...they got to Milan but the customs impounded them for two weeks and they have been sitting in Turin thelast week..so far three weeks later,no delivery and lots of prayers..

More and more I'm wanting to return to uk.

White on White Shampoo, Thick and Thicker protein foam, After U Bathe and Ice on Ice. Also got some nice new thinning shears - got a show tomorrow so will be trying them out later!

some new walking boots and an iPhone SE (for taking loads of photos :p).

I could do with some new gloves if anyone has any recommendations (not Sealskins-don't like them, don't like bulk). Not a white Christmas (it ws 8 degrees at one point yesterday) but a bit of snow this morning!

I got some new leather boots for training in and some thermal gloves.
Also got a lovely pandora type charm with a pic of my pup on it :)

Love the thick and thicker, I use that on one of mine. And the Ice on Ice, is that chalk? I used one of the CC chalks on a westie I did for grooming comp, fabulously light and whitens up the stained area (and your hands lol).

What kind of dog do you show?

Ice on Ice is the detangler/whitening spray :) Show ESS mostly in the working/field trial special classes but won the Open Dog today to make the oldest up to a full Champion, we can drop the FT now!

Thanks guys! Apoogies for the thread derailment, Chiffy!!

A grainy phone pic of himself yesterday - just got the right judge on the right day who uttered the words "It's nice to see a fit dog and some of these working breeds are just getting too big" - this lad barely scrapes the bottom end of the height range for dogs in the breed standard so I was bracing myself to not get the "Excellent" grading needed to gain full champion title :)

Not a prob druid, congratulations. Anyway your win was a huge Christmas present!

Lovely looking dog, mine is in similar physical condition. How big/heavy is your boy. I often get comments that mine is on the small/lean side but he gets masses of high quality food and just burns it off, especially as he is just starting to do a little picking up occasionally. Mine is 18.2kg

Thanks all :)

Tiny. He's 16kg in that pic and strips down to 14.5kg if working extremely hard (usually grouse weeks). He tends very much to being a fatty though given a chance!

Wow, that makes mine look huge! I love the small, quick springers, I have a young lab too who seems really ploddy in comparison. I expect Beans will mature around the 19/20kg mark. He is nearly 2 now.
