Dogs should not be allowed to go. I wouldnt even comtemplate taking mine. I went to Burley. Me and friends were eating our dinner (a nice burger) dog comes and sh*ts in front of us. Owner cleared it up immediatly, but god knows what it had been eating coz the stench was around for ages. Ruined dinner and make us all feel ill. Going around the shopping, dogs are a nuisance in the tents. I was in one tack stall, trying to look at the bits, and someone had their dog pressed up against the wall poor thing, as loads of people pushed past.
I have been at other events were there was poo everywhere round the xc course, and silly yappy terriers barking at every dog that it saw.
A friend of mine took her two JRT to a small, quiet country fair (which I dont have a much as a gripe about) with a double lead. Toddler came along not under mothers control, and walked straight in the middle of the double lead. Had the dogs have been nasty, the child would have been in a mess.
Dont take them.
