Right well this is slightly embarrassing but you know me I'll just say it anyway.
Went for a long ride on Saturday and I suppose what with the warm weather an all it didnt help, then when I got back, I rode again on my lad in the school, so was in the saddle quite a lot that day.
Now I'm well ermmmm.....a little chaffed in the old lady garden department!
I won't go into exact detail, I know its early and you may of just had your breakfasts but I'm sure some of you ladies must of experienced this before and ended up with a few blister type soars and well lets be honest here.....it don't tickle!
specially when you have to peel your knickers off....bit like when you were little and you stuck your very first sanitary towel in th wrong way round...sticky side up...
well now you get what I'm talking about.
Thing is I did have a pair of comfortable granny basher type knickers on, I had some jods on too (not jeans as sometimes I do ride in a comfortable pair), so I can't understand it, do you think your more likely to get it when your riding in warm weather on long rides on a swade seat rather than a leather one because if you think about it, when your on a leather seat you may move a tad more but onto a swade synthetic seat when its warm there is more friction because the material of the saddle kinda grips you? (if that makes sense) specially when your riding a horse that you have to squeeze on all the time, he's the hores is very lazy.
How do you prevent it? at this rate I'll be putting that skin hardener stuff on that you use for horses on my ....*coughs* lol or padding out my knickers with those gel party feet thingy's!
Even the OH is banned in the bedroom department
until I heal and the thought of riding this week, well it brings tears to my eyes!
Do those riding pants really work?
