Hes lovely! A proper horse

I think you must be plenty good enough a rider for him if you managed to get him through his issues! So many people just give up if a horse is not perfect. Perhaps you should give yourself a pat on the back!!

Thanks everyone for the lovely comments.

Charlie55, wish he acted like a police horse i could do without the spooking & sharpness sometimes. It's getting much better nowadays though.

Firewell, thank you i am proud for getting him through his problems an 18hh horse rearing & throwing himself over is not nice to deal with. But now he's good & working well im lacking, typical isnt it im playing catch up now!!

Prince33Sp4rkle, they are very similar arnt they. What a lovely big lad. Do you still have him??

Fiona - I am lucky that i can ride however can only ride on the track my menage is quite good, however the middle is frozen solid so no circles.
Today i don't think i can ride on the track, might be softer this afto but i doubt it.

He was a fab spook free horse in London, but when he came to the countryside, he was a nightmare lol. A bird flying out of a tree would nearly give him a heart attack lol x

no, i sold him last year as we just didnt gel, dont get me wrong we had fun together but he wasnt *my*horse and i felt he deserved someone where he would be the love of their life.

im def a TB girl, and although he was stunning to look at, a huge warmblood just didnt rock my boat.which is not to say i cant appreciate your hunk of a horse:)

Really lovely horse

I cant see how you not wearing a hat is an issue, its your choice after all. Like spottedcat said, look at all the people who compete in tophats - they wont do a thing to protect you when you fall off, nor will beaglers.

Lovely horse and photos, and PMSL at the "do-gooders"

If you want a laugh, search for starman's first ever post on here about some ladies telling him off for riding without a hat: his post was hilarious but the response was side-splitting

I have seen this horse out competing and he works so beautifully!

Please don't take them down. I have stopped posting pictures and videos because I got so many posts and PMs about me not wearing a hat in the previous video, but like you I tend to wear my beagler if anything (other than on my new pony!)

Are you at the Regionals at Myerscough?
