We're in section E, lots of time to walk XC inbetween DR and SJ, so very pleased about that or it would be a crazy early start a la Noodlejaffa at Scone.

At a quick glance it looks like I'm in a very competitive section, so will be lurking near the bottom no doubt. ;) Looks like lots of HHO-ers in my section who will be showing us up in the dressage no doubt! :)
 
DHB- phew, glad we're not up against you and your fancy DR marks/100% PN placing record! ;) I've spotted loads of HHO-ers in all sections, I think we should request our own parking area, would make the blethering easier! ;)

applestroodle- aw, you not got anyone to drag along with you? :( I bet you're excited about getting Mr M out for his first proper party, hopefully catch you at some point. :)

Not much fancy about our dressage at the moment. My instructor commented on B's lack of focus in this area as we did our flatwork in an arena with jumps. She said you could quite clearly see him saying "I am a JUMPING horse so lets get this namby pamby stuff over asap so we can get onto the proper stuff!":eek:;)
Worst thing is I think he is picking up this bad dressage attitude from me :rolleyes:

A HHO parking area would make perfect sense though shall we leave it with bryonyjane to set up if she is stopping over?:D
 
Don't Panic!!! I've made it back to the bright side and in Section D.
Not too early a start from the looks of things.
Well if the HHO-ers official parking space is set up can we make any requests like having copious amounts of Gin and those M&S Chocolate Rolls??:D
 
Section E :) Still not sure if box will be fixed but hopefully will find out today! Fingers crossed everyone!
Will join you near the bottom FJ (like you'll actually be there), J's getting his shoulders tweeked tonight so wont be back on board till Thurday so have to hope he keeps a lid on things in the dressage! Suspect my frilly success rate may take a battering this weekend! ;)
 
There you go bryonyjane- there's summat to keep you busy on Fri night! ;) Just a wee bit of rearranging of white posts and string to make a HHO parking/picnic/gin drinking/chocolate eating area! :D

FC- leave the bubbles at home, you are perfectly safe given the number of fancy horses in my section plus a whole shedload who are normally competing at novice! Pah!

Nothing like being positive is there FJ!! They are pretty big sections to be honest but those big fat zero's count for more than the silly 8's:)

(Let you into a secret...... I have an Eric McKechnie lesson booked for Friday even taking the day off work for it.How committed am I getting to this dressage carry on!!Then again this will be my first lesson since about April and long overdue and never had one ever with him but decided to treat myself!!Apparently, he loves the natives!!):D:D:D

Well I'm just going for my usual of hoping to stay attached in between the fences and in the warmup!!:)
 
Will I bring a supply of bubbles, available to any lucky gits who require it, therefore none of you are actually jinxing yourselves ;)

I like to call it "realistic"?! ;) I will be happy with zeros on the jumping scoreboard... am resigned to lurking at the bottom of the dressage scoreboard, at least that way any fluke marks are a bonus! ;)

Ooooh, get you you dressage diva! Hope it works and very glad you're not in my section now! ;) Will need to make room in the cool box for bubbles beside H's ice packs?! :D

Ha ha... and in the case of none of us getting frillies you'd just have to enjoy it yourself?! I see your thinking...! :p

FC made a deal with me that 1st one out of the 2 of us to bring home a PN frilly was owed bubbles from the other one. I think I may be regretting this deal sooner than she is...! ;)

LOL...Don't think you can work miracles in 45 minutes!! That's why they put us in different sections so we can both hold up the bottom end of a section each after the stressage!!:D
 
Good luck to everyone! Wish I was going but have a wedding to go to (grump!). Sure will have a good time but would have liked another run before RF at Turnberry.
 
i'm going :D

in BE80 section G, number 270! looks like i will have very leisurely times for my section! will be goin xc in the dark lol :D:D thank goodness i'm not far away. going to walk the course on friday if anyones up for it!

if Mr FJ is around, piccies please please! :D

think we could have a prize for worst DR of the day, i might win something!!!!

P.S - FJ thanks for the link, i was a bit slow on the uptake there, i blame night shift! whoops :)
 
soupdragon- that is very inconsiderate of your friend! ;) Have fun though and you will be fine at Turnberry, it sounds to me like a course that doesn't need a warm up run for it! ;)

kez- will make sure he has your number noted and I will no doubt still be mooching about until the end of the day anyway! ;) I will be walking course on the day, so if you're there on Fri a wee report back on how the BE100 looks would be fab! :D
 
will try my best to do extensive course walking and piccy snapping of all courses on friday! :)

you may all have to see them via FB though as i have yet to master this piccy posting thing yet lol :D
 
FJ you will breeze round. Unless they have made major changes its very straightforward! I know there is a new water, a big section in the woods (which is fine and nice) and the rest she will just hop over :)
