Any idea what this could be? We moved yards two weeks ago and it came up 1-2 days after. I don’t believe it’s from his bridle rubbing because: A) he’s hardly been ridden in a month and B) it’s the same tack etc.
He did rear up in the lorry when we moved him, so at first I thought it could be some kind of knock/graze. His eyelashes are also a bit flaky on that side. Could it be a seasonal thing, coat change = itchy?
Other factors I’ve considered — the exact same bedding from the same supplier, he’s now on (gorgeous quality) hay instead of haylage. He’s fed Pure Easy with some Aloe Juice (aloe has been for the last 4 weeks) and oily herbs, as and when I remember to put some in. He’s rising 5. I’ve known him a year and this is a new occurrence.
Thank you for any insight!
