dull question !!!!

An ordinary snaffle tends to be a loose ring (the rings can swivel all the way around) or a fixed eggbutt style (when the rings are solidly fixed to the mouthpiece and do not swivel).
A d ring looks most like an eggbut snaffle but the part the is fixed to the mouthpiece is much straighter. This is designed to help prevent the bit being pulled sideways through the mouth by the reins

so if i bought a d ring it won't have any detrimental affect to my gee gee? The reason I'm asking is I want a myler comfort snaffle but don't want to pay an arm and a leg...i've been offered a snaffle in the correct size but its a d rather ordinary snaffle ring so wondered if this slight difference would cause any problems.....i guess not

thank you for your help

sorry....i knew the difference in design, i meant difference in action
