What are they exactly? I wouldn't use them as I am well practiced at plaiting, but I've always wondered what they actually do/look like!

Oh gosh no - I love mine. You have to be able to do the plait but if you are in a hurry then they are great.

Of course they dont look great on the first attempt but then what does. A few times and you soon sort them out and you have to remember to keep them tight . As you can see I love them.

Another devotee of easy plait, bloomin brilliant on a cold day when you don't want damp fingers for any longer than necessary. The do take practice and a well pulled mane, but have cut my plaiting time in half.

The funniest thing is that the horse in the ad has rubbish plaits - half of them sticking up in the air!
Best plaiting aids - plastic comb cut to the size of the hair section you want to take for easy sectioning off (or metal mane comb with an elastic band wound onto it to mark the size)
Bottle of Quick Braid - absolute life saver.
Try not to plait within a week of pulling the mane.
Box or block to stand on for a bigger horse
Peace and quiet so they stand still!
