Ebay Bargain!

Think I may have one just like that festering in the shed, & my car insurance is due.......might be time to fish it out ;)

Yuckk!!!

I hope no one is stupid enough to buy it at that price!!

Looks only suitable for a CarBoot Sale, and then selling if they are lucky.

But hey ho, some people will try to sell anything

blimey i had a saddle in better condition than that one and sold it for £45 (2yrs ago). wish i still had it as i could have put it on ebay for £400!

LOL, I've thrown away better saddles than that!
Sad thing is, there is usually someone daft enough out there to buy it.Years ago I went to flock up a saddle on site at a big house with stables. When presented with said saddle it was a cheap pvc saddle, woman thought she had been sold a good leather saddle that would last for life!
It had holes in the top of the thigh rolls and this is where I managed to get my flocking irons to flock it up, didn't dare add anymore holes to flock it incase it completely dismembered itself leaving me with the blame!
When I pointed out this was a cheap saddle that I can buy in from wholesalers for about £40 she wasn't happy as you can imagine as some "saddler" lady as she called her had come and fitted it and charged her £350 for it!
Funny thing is, I wasn't ever invited back to that yard either :)

It always amazes me what people will pay for some things on eBay... I still think the best is people's tesco,s vouchers... And only this morning I saw £50 worth of euro shrapnel being sold for £42 with £6 postage

It never happens when I sell something though sold my ideal saddle for £100 before I realised that it was actually worth a bit more than that.

P.s don't mind when a private buyer gets a bargain... But this went to trader

OMG what a joke. mind you can't blame em for trying

I am gobs macked at this, silly price for a saddle cover, but plenty of bids. I have one on my (non albion dressage saddle). I think I will be buying a cheap one and sticking this one on ebay

Omg Soulfull I looked for an albion saddle cover yesterday thinking I would have to pay £5 to £6 ish and when I saw that I couldnt believe it either!

I'm sure there's two or three like that in the back of the barn!

I just wonder who would buy such a thing? Surely, even the most novice owner would realise it's probably a pile of cr*p, just by comparing it to others on ebay!

I must dig out that old mildew one in my garage I was just looking at it. Now I realise I am sitting on a pot of gold!!

Surely there is a zero too many on that advert??? If not I am sitting on £1,000s of old saddles!
