Three times recently I have won equestrian items on ebay and they havent turned up, none of the sellers have responded to my messages

Granted the items were all bargains but if they didnt have a reserve or a higher starting price thats not my problem!

So annoying grrr! I have bought and sold a lot through ebay with no previous problems - I wonder if the increase in Facebook groups means people have multiple adverts up for the same items

Don't know, you should give them bad ratings and they wont find buyers in future.
I stopped using it because the fees are so high, but I have two saddles sitting here, and no horse!

I always thought that a won item on EBay meant they had made a legally binding contract to sell to you. It's not your fault if they start too low and are then unhappy with the final price, or sell it to someone else? I'd give the sellers negative feedback and send them a message reminding them of their legal contract. Did you pay them,by the way? If so, you should be able to make a claim through ebays buyer protection scheme. Good luck ...

Daughter in same situation at the moment. Bought a book and the woman first told her delay was down to her computer being broken but that she should receive the item at the beginning of this week but no sign of it. Will report to ebay soon.

I had a problem too!
Also a bargain, a brand new item half the price it should have been. Surprise surprise it never turned up sent numerous emails chasing it and in the end had to get my money back. I really wanted the item not my money but their ignorance to reply over a month made it clear they weren't going to get back to me. :(
They received bad feedback from me.
The sad thing is I still think when the postman comes is it there?!

I've had the opposite problem as a seller, have recently had 4 individual items not paid for in one month. Have been selling for years and have never had this problem before. All items are started at 99p and go for a fair price. It's very annoying when they don't pay :(

me too won a rug, seller mailed me and said I hadn't paid enough postage, I paid 8.50 on the listing, seller said it was £16.00 and I needed to pay more. the item was relisted before I even responded.
