I sold a rug on Ebay a couple of weeks ago, it was a brand new Rhino turnout with hood, unopened, still in it's bag.
It had been sat around for ages and never been used so I thought I may as well sell it to get me a bit of pocket money, I started it at 99p and was really pleased with the price it made.
Got back from Holiday today to find a case has been opened against me as the rug is apparently damaged, the buyer has contacted Horseware and a well know horsey website (not sure why she would do that) and they have told her the rug is damaged (fitting in the wrong place or something like that).
So am I right in thinking I'm going to have to refund her for the rug? Do I refund the postage as well? I don't have the receipt for the rug but is it likely that horseware will send me a replacement if I send it back to them?
I was hoping to buy a rug my horse actually needs with the money so am not best pleased!
